Sapphire Coronation Coins

For 2018 to celebrate the Sapphire Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Mint and other Mint's from around the world have released a special range of Limited Issue coins minted in Platinum Proof, Gold Proof, Piedfort Silver Proof, Silver Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
The reverse of the £5 Coins designed by Stephen Taylor features the Royal Standard while the £500 and £10 coins designed by Dominique Evans depicts a seated portrait of the Queen with Orb, Sceptre and St Edward’s Crown. The Sovereign features a special Privy Mark to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Queens Coronation.
The obverse of all the coins features the stunning Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
