In 2024 to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Struck on the Day D-Day Gold Full Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold with a special Privy Mark depicting a soldiers Helmet marked with the number "80" and the entire issue of 1,000 coins will be struck on Thursday 6th June 2024 the day of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and is the official Struck on the Day D-Day Gold Full Sovereign Coin.
The coin includes it's original Royal Mint box with it's individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
