For 2020 to celebrate Disney's Winnie the Pooh, the Royal Mint released a special collection of nine coins with the first coin featuring a Limited Issue Winnie the Pooh 50p Fifty Pence Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold.
The reverse designed by The Walt Disney Company features the famous Winnie the Pooh eating honey while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
