In 2020, to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE-Day, the Royal Mint is releasing a Limited Issue VE-Day £2 Two Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM.

The reverse designed by Dominique Evans features a cheering crowd and the words Victory while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
