In 2020, to celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, the Royal Mint is releasing a Limited Issue Mayflower £2 Two Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM
The reverse designed by Chris Costello depicts the Mayflower while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
