The reverse design re-creates the Louis XIV 15 Sol Coin issued in 1670 and features the Royal Arms of France designed by Jean-Baptiste Dufour while the obverse features Susanna Blunts portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
