For 2020 the Royal Mint released the Limited Issue Britannia £10 Ten Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver and weighing five ounces of pure Silver Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM First Strike with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.
The reverse designed by James Tottle features Britannia facing into the wind with a Trident planted into the rocks as the waves crash around her.
On her arm she holds a shield featuring the head of a lion while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
