In 2018 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Air Force, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Vulcan £2 Two Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold.
The reverse designed by Richard and Neil Talbotfeatures the Vulcan Bomber and is the third in the Royal Air Force Series. The obverse depicts the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
