2017 British Lunar Rooster £100 Gold Proof 1oz Coin PCGS PR69 DCAM
In 2017 to celebrate the Lunar Year of the Rooster, the Royal Mint released a special Limited Issue British Lunar Rooster £100 One Hundred Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine .9999 Gold weighing one ounce of fine pure Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.
The reverse designed by Wuon-Gean Ho depicts a Marsh Daisy Rooster with ten flowers in the foreground which are Marsh Daisies or Sea Thrift while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark .
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
