2017 Britannia £25 Platinum Proof 1/4oz Coin PCGS PR70 DCAM
In 2017, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Britannia, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Britannia £25 Twenty Five Pound Platinum Proof Coin struck in solid fine 999.5 Platinum weighing one-quarter of an ounce of fine pure Platinum Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM.
The portrait designed by Louis Tamlyn depicts a contemporary reverse design, reflecting a time of political change when the eyes of the world have often been on Britain.
His design also contains the Trident Mint Mark that celebrates this anniversary.
The obverse design features Jody Clark's Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
