2017 Britannia £25 Gold Proof 1/4oz Coin PCGS PR69 DCAM

For 2017 the Royal Mint released it's yearly Limited Issue Britannia £25 Twenty Five Pound Gold Proof Coin weighing one quarter of an ounce of pure Gold struck in solid fine 999.9 Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

The portrait designed by Louis Tamlyn depicts a contemporary reverse design, reflecting a time of political change when the eyes of the world have often been on Britain.
His design also contains the Trident Mint Mark that celebrates this anniversary.
The obverse design features Jody Clark's Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
