In 2016 to celebrate the Queens 90th Birthday, the Royal Mint released a very special Limited Issue Struck on the Day Royal Birthday Celebration Gold Full Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and struck on the Queens Birthday 11th June 2016.

The reverse design depicts Pistrucci's St George Slaying the Dragon while the obverse has the stunning Fourth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
The coin will be presented with a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by the Head of Production, attesting to its provenance and the exact day of its striking.
