In 2016 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the First World War, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Battle of Jutland £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The reverse designed by John Bergdahl features ships in battle with the edge inscription "Our children shall measure their worth" while the obverse is the stunning effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
