In 2015 to celebrate the Kimberley Sunset, the Perth Mint released a very Limited Issue Kimberley Sunset $500 Five Hundred Dollar Pink Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine .9999 Gold to a High Relief and weighs two ounces of pure Gold with an Argyle Pink Diamond of between 0.035 and 0.040 Carats.

The reverse design features a boab tree amid a Kimberley landscape at sunset with an Argyle Pink Diamond representing the setting sun while the obverse depicts t he stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
