In 2014 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Kangaroo, the Perth Mint released a very Limited Issue Kangaroo $25 Twenty Five Dollar Gold Proof Coin struck in solid .9999 Gold weighing one-quarter of an ounce of pure Gold with a special "P" Mint Mark Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM.
The reverse depicts a Kangaroo while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
