The reverse designed by Alex Loudon the power of sport embodied in a cyclist and athlete, the home of the Games reflected in his choice of Scottish Saltire and lettering inspired by Glasgow-born architect, artist and designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The obverse features the stunning Fourth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
