The reverse designed by Robert Hunt depicts Britannia facing left as is traditional, but turns her upper body in a listening pose with an Owl perched on her knee which is a traditional symbol of wisdom.
The obverse design features Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
