In 2013 the Royal Australian Mint released a Special Edition Proof 6 Coin Set which includes the Platypus 20 Cent Coin selectively Gold Plated.
The collection includes the 50c Fifty Cent Coin down to the 1c One Cent Coin. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
