In 2010 the Bavarian State Mint on behalf of the
Somalia Republic released a very Limited Issue 100 One Hundred Shillings Silver Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver and weighing one ounce of fine pure Silver and plated in 24 Carat Gold.
The reverse depicts an Elephant drinking water with the sun beaming down while the obverse has the Coat of Arms of the Somalia Republic and the denomination.
