The Brilliant Uncirculated Annual Coin Set of 2010 comprises twelve coins, including four new commemorative coins, all struck to the Royal Mint's Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
This is a delightful collection of the United Kingdom's legal tender coins for 2010 which includes four new designs.
The new commemorative £2 Two Pound Coin bear special reverse designs, designed by Gordon Summers depicts a pulse being taken seems to commemorate nursing in general while the inscription draws attention to the achievement of Florence Nightingale in particular with the background symbolising the rays of light from her Lamp.
Also included is the two new £1 One Pound Coins celebrating the Capital Cities of the United Kingdom.
Created by Stuart Devlin who choose to depict the cities Coat of Arms for each coin, the first £1 One Pound Coin being London and the second £1 One Pound coin being Belfast.
The set also includes the new 50p Fifty Pence Coin which commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Guides and has been designed by Jonathan Evans and Donna Hainen and features a repeating pattern of the Girl Guides Emblem.
Also included in this set in the newly designed coinage from £1 One Pound Coin down to the 1p One Pence Coin by Matthew Dent.
All the coins have the stunning portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse by Ian Rank Broadley.
