For 2009 to celebrate the 2650 19D Express Train, the South African Mint has released a Limited Issue Launch Mint Mark Krugerrand Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold weighing one ounce of pure Gold with a special 2650 19D Mint Mark.
The reverse of the coin designed by Coert Steynberg depicts a Springbok Antelope one of the national symbols of South Africa and the obverse has the portrait of Paul Kruger.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
