In 2009 to celebrate the Lunar Year of the Ox, the Peoples Bank of China released a very Limited Issue Lunar Ox Fan-Shaped 10 Yuan Silver Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver weighing one ounce of pure silver and was struck by Shenzen Guobao Mint and distributed by the China Gold Corporation and Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS69.
The obverse features the Niangziguan Pass of the Great Wall of China in Shanxi Province while the reverse features a Buffalo playing in the water in the foreground and a decorative design of an Ox head as the background and the face value.
