2008 Prince of Wales 2p Gold Proof Coin PCGS PR69 DCAM

In 2008 to commemorate the Last of the Emblems of Britain Coinage, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Prince of Wales 2p Two Pence Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

On the reverse is the Badge of the Prince of Wales with its Motto ICH DIEN (I Serve) designed by Christopher Ironside.
The obverse features the portrait of the Queen by Ian Rank Broadley FRBS, FSNAD.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
