In 2007 to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Death of Princess Lady Diana, the Royal Mint on behalf of Alderney released a very Limited Issue Lady Diana £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The reverse of the coin shows a stunning portrait of Lady Diana by Danuta Solowiej-Wedderburn while the obverse has a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
