In 2006 the South African Mint in conjunction with the Berlin Mint released a Limited Issue Prestige Krugerrand Gold Proof 4 Coin Set and includes the Mint Mark Krugerrand Gold Proof 1oz Coin, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz Coins and celebrates this historic link between South Africa and Germany.
In recognition of Otto Schultz, the initials 'OS' have been inscribed on the obverse of the 1oz Krugerrand, which also features Berlin's heraldic symbol of a bear as a Mint Mark.
A replica of the original 5 Shilling Silver Coin issued in 1892 completes the set.
The reverse of the coins designed by Coert Steynberg depicts a Springbok Antelope one of the national symbols of South Africa and the obverse of all the coins have the portrait of Paul Kruger.
