2005 St George and the Dragon Full Sovereign Gold Proof Coin PCGS PR69 DCAM - Timothy Noad

For 2005 the Royal Mint released a very special Limited Issue St George and the Dragon Gold Proof Full Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and features a new portrayal of St George and The Dragon and has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

Created by Timothy Noad, this modern interpretation of the centuries-old story depicts St George locked in combat with The Dragon while t he obverse depicts the stunning portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
