In 2005 to celebrate the History of Powered Flight, the Royal Mint on behalf of the Solomon Islands released a very Limited Issue Concorde $25 Twenty Five Dollar Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .999 Silver weighing one ounce of pure Silver and plated in 24 Carat Gold and Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.
The reverse depicts the Concorde while the obverse features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
