In 1999 to celebrate the Kudu Bull, the South African Mint released a very Limited Issue Natura Kudu Bull Gold Proof Coin struck in solid Fine 999.9 Gold weighing one-quarter of an ounce of pure Gold and has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

The reverse of the coin designed by A Minnie is of a Lioness chasing a Kudu Bull and the obverse designed by A L Sutherland is a portrait of a Kudu Bull.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
