The Leopard is the last of the Big 5 to be portrayed in this particular and very popular, Natura series.
The reverse of the Leopard Gold Proof 1/2oz Coin depicts a Leopard lazily lying in a tree - a very familiar picture as leopards are much more at home in trees than any other African Cat.

The obverse shows the growling, fierce countenance of this powerful and solitary predator.
