In 1995 to celebrate the Rhino, the South African Mint released a very Limited Issue Natura Rhino Gold Proof Coin struck in solid Fine 999.9 Gold weighing one ounce of pure Gold which is part of the Natura Big 5 series and has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.

The obverse design of the Rhino Gold Proof 1oz Coin depicts a three-quarter view of Rhino in veld while the reverse design shows two Rhino's grazing in the veld.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
