In 1994 to celebrate the Unicorn, the China Mint released a very special Limited Issue Unicorn 5 Five Yuan Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine .999 Gold and weighing one twentieth of an ounce of pure Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.
The reverse design depicts the Unicorn while the obverse has a Chinese Dragon and the Date. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
