In 1985 to celebrate Isle of Man Gold Angel Coins, the Pobjoy Mint released a very Limited Issue Manx Angel Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold weighing one-tenth of an ounce of pure Gold.

The reverse with a new design which was used a quarter of a century ago depicts Archangel Michael with feathered wings vanquishing a dragon.
Surrounding the image is a Celtic band with the familiar Isle of Man Manx logo in the top center.
The obverse depicts a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II .
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
