In 1927 the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue George V Silver Proof Wreath Crown Coin struck in solid .500 Silver which was only made in Silver Proof with no standard versions issued Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR64.
The reverse designed by Kruger Gray features a Royal Crown and date in wreath and was only issued in proof sets dated 1927.
The obverse designed by Bertram Mackennal depicts the bare head portrait of King George V.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
