In 1927 the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue George V Florin Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .500 Silver which was only made in Silver Proof with no standard versions issued has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR65.
The reverse depicts cruciform shields with a sceptre in each angle while the obverse is the bare head portrait of George V and was only issued in proof sets dated 1927.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
