In 1918-I the Royal Mint opened a branch mint in Bombay and for a few short months released a George V St George and the Dragon Gold Full Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and made to the same quality as those struck in London apart from the "I" Mint Mark Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS63.
The reverse is Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon design and the obverse is the bear head portrait of George V.
