In 1909-C the Royal Mint in Ottawa, Canada released an Edward VII Gold Full Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold with a special Mint Mark "C" Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS62 with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.
The reverse design features Pistrucci's St George Slaying the Dragon while the obverse depicts the Bare Head portrait of King Edward VII .
Last MS62 sold at Heritage in May 2022 for £3,750 and an MS64 sold for £11,000 also in May 2022 at Heritage
