In 1902 to celebrate the Coronation of King Edward VII, the Royal Mint released a special St George and the Dragon £2 Two Pound Gold Matte Proof Double Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR61.

The reverse design depicts Pistrucci's St George Slaying the Dragon while the obverse features George William De Saulles portrait of King Edward VII.
