Comprising eleven coins, the Collection includes the £5 Five Pound Sovereign, £2 Two Pound Double Sovereign Gold Coin, Full Sovereign and Half Sovereign Gold Coins struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and the Silver Crown down to Three Pence struck .925 Sterling Silver all dated 1887.
The obverse of the four Gold Sovereign Coins of 1887 feature the portrait of Queen Victoria created by Edgar Boehm, whilst two designs appear on their reverse: the £5 Five Pound Sovereign, £2 Two Pound Double Sovereign and Full Sovereign bears St George and The Dragon by Benedetto Pistrucci, whilst the Half Sovereign shows the Shield of the Royal Arms.
