For 2025 to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Hanoverian Royal Arms design from 1825, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Royal Arms Gold Proof 5 Coin Set struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and includes the £5 Five Pound, £2 Two Pound Double Sovereign, Full Sovereign, Half Sovereign, and Quarter Sovereign Coins Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM First Strike with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.

Each of the 22 Carat Gold Proof Sovereigns in the set feature the Royal Arms designed by Jean Baptiste Merlen, together with the Portrait of His Majesty, King Charles III by Martin Jennings on the obverse.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
