The reverse design features William Wyon's The Three Graces in exquisite detail, the three female figures depict three mythological charities and are said to be the daughters of Zeus, representing youth, mirth and elegance with the Latin motto ‘FOEDUS INVIOLABILE’ which translates to “An Unbreakable Treaty”.
The obverse features an inscription of the coin’s monetary denomination FIVE POUNDS and the Fifth Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
