For 2017 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the First Krugerrand, on behalf of South Africa released a Limited Issue Krugerrand Gold Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold weighing one-tenth of an ounce of pure Gold with a special 50th Anniversary Privy Mark.
The reverse of the coin designed by Coert Steynberg depicts a Springbok Antelope one of the national symbols of South Africa and the obverse has the portrait of Paul Kruger.
