For 2013 the Royal Mint released a Britannia Bullion Uncirculated £10 Ten Pound Gold Coin struck for the first time in solid fine .9999 Gold weighing one-tenth of an ounce of pure Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS67.
The reverse designed by Robert Hunt depicts Britannia facing left as is traditional but turns her upper body in a listening pose with an Owl perched on her knee which is a traditional symbol of wisdom.
The obverse design has Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
