In 2013 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Queen's Coronation, the Perth Mint released a special Limited Issue Coronation $1 One Dollar Silver Proof Coin struck in fine .999 Silver weighing one ounce of pure Silver.

The reverse depicts a portrait of the Queen with the Mint’s traditional ‘P’ Mint Mark, while the obverse features Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
