The reverse designed by Bonnie Ross features the Queen's Royal Visit to Canada and features the Queen accepting her first Royal Canadian Mounted Police Horse with the date 2012 while the obverse features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
