In 2009, to celebrate the History of the Royal Navy, the Royal Mint released on behalf of Guernsey a Limited Issue HMS Invincible £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The reverse design depicts HMS Invincible while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank Broadley.
