In 2008 for the first time ever the Austrian Mint released a Limited Issue Vienna Philharmonic 1.5 Euro Silver Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver weighing one ounce of pure Silver Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS69.
The reverse features the "Great Organ" found in Vienna's "Great Hall" the concert hall the Philharmonic Orchestra performs in. The obverse features a montage of instruments which include: a String Base, Cellos, Violins, a Bassoon, Harp and a Viennese Horn.
