2020 Great Engravers Three Graces £5 Silver Proof 2oz Coin PCGS PR70 DCAM
In 2020, to continue the Great Engravers of the United Kingdom Collection, the Royal Mint released the second coin in the series a special Limited Issue William Wyon Three Graces £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid Fine .999 Silver weighing two ounces of pure Silver Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.
The reverse design features William Wyon's The Three Graces in exquisite detail, the three female figures depict three mythological charities and are said to be the daughters of Zeus, representing youth, mirth and elegance with the Latin motto ‘FOEDUS INVIOLABILE’ which translates to “An Unbreakable Treaty”.
The obverse features an inscription of the coin’s monetary denomination FIVE POUNDS and the Fifth Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
