In 2000 to celebrate Zeus, the Royal Mint on behalf of Malta released a very Limited Issue 500 Five Hundred Lira Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .999 Silver.
The reverse depicts Zeus while the obverse depicts the Royal Coat of Arms of Malta. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
